Overland Adventure 2020

The 2020 Overland Adventure hosted by Four Wheeler magazine was a three-day trip across the scenic backcountry of Arizona. It featured epic trails, camping, and a full contingent of the most capable overland-ready rigs from around the country. As the official load and sway control sponsor of the event, we loaded up the Hellwig Attainable Adventure Ranger with all the gear and food needed for a few days on the trail and joined the party.

The route started in Wickenburg, Arizona, and made its way through canyons, water crossings, hill-climbs, and more, all the way to the final campsite in Bumble Bee, Arizona. We supplied many of the participants with sway bars and helper springs for their rigs to improve performance over the challenging terrain, and we even managed a late-night campsite sway bar install. Check out a few highlights from the trip below.

Professional guide Nena Barlow and Four Wheeler magazine editor Ken Brubaker led the group of 20 rigs across the trails to our destination.

The Attainable Adventure Ranger was the perfect tool for the job.

It would not be a real adventure without a few sketchy moments. Here’s Sean Holman with a nice grab.
